Flower Shop & Garden Center Brochure
After being a graphic designer for many years and having designed and supervised many hundreds of pieces, this brochure is my favorite. It holds up here, but to hold it and flip through the physical brochure is something very special to me. It owes a lot to the remarkable photography of Tom Hopkins. But, I also could not be happier with the typography and layout throughout. The text and quotations are also perfect.
We decided to print the brochure/magazine on a high-quality uncoated sheet and, since it’s notoriously difficult to print full-color on uncoated paper, we used a black “touch plate” to make the photos pop on the uncoated. There’s a tutorial here.
“People from a planet without joy the whole time to have such things about us.”
