Dara Celtic Knot
The various intertwined lines of this symbol represent the branches and roots of an oak tree.
Considered sacred, people believed that the tree endowed them with strength, endurance and long lives. The symbol of the knot represents solidarity and stability. The name itself is derived from the word “Doire” which translates as “oak”. Like other Celtic symbols, the knot is made up of intertwined lines which have no beginning or end.
