Celtic Symbols
The Celts were among the oldest and most influential cultures in history. Their influence reached the modern United Kingdom, Spain, Belgium, France and some of Italy. The Celts believed that their symbols possessed supernatural powers and the Celtic warriors reflected these beliefs as they moved into new territory. Each symbol is imbued with a special meaning. Each Celtic family chose a special design for its family’s belongings, in particular, their clothing. The Celts believed that their choice of symbol influenced their relationship with others and in the broader world around them.
